Trista began her Photographic Journey in 1982 when Santa brought her first camera.
The University of Montevallo's Fine Arts Department opened her eyes to Black and White Fine Art Film Photography in 1992. A passion and joy led Trista E Nabors to a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Fine Art and a minor in Psychology. Later she earned her Master of Education with a focus in Visual Arts Education in 2000. A series of events and life lessons brought Trista to Oak Mountain High School, Birmingham Alabama in 2004 where she taught 35mm Black and White Film Photography for 9 years. Transitioning to Digital Photography in the classroom during 2013 - 2015 proved to be a learning process filled with excitement and frustration that has led to a thirst of learning more. Focused on her daughter, school events, nature, and anything interesting to the eye - Trista has begun a new path in her Photographic Journey that includes Fine Art, Sports, Family, Image Manipulation, and a passion to combine "Old School" Photography with today's technology.
